Christmas 2020
Twenty Twenty, oh what a year –
Covid disease, isolation and fear,
We must do this but we mustn’t do that,
We can fuss the dog but can’t kiss the cat!
We listen to Boris, Keir Starmer or Trump,
Hear them together and we’ll all get the hump!
We are saddened to hear thousands of folk are in trouble,
But whoever believes we can live in a bubble?!
Then I remembered just how blessed I am
To enjoy a relationship with the Great ‘ I AM ‘
Who left Heaven’s glory and came down to earth,
Now we rejoice in our dear Saviour’s birth.
Years later He hung in agony and shame
But, true to His promise
HE’S COMING AGAIN!!
HALLELUJAH
Are we ready to meet Him?
